Working for Justice

THANK YOU SPONSORS

The Award
Interfaith Work Justice's (IWJ) Annual Awards event in Washington, DC honors those who have dedicated their careers to championing working people, interfaith dialogue and peace, and immigrant, racial and economic justice, to name a few. At the event, the Faith Works award is given to those champions who tirelessly advocate for the dignity and respect of working people everywhere.
In 2017, our honorees are devoted crusaders for justice. In a spirit reflecting the work of IWJ, we proudly celebrate Sarita Gupta, Executive Director of Jobs With Justice (JWJ) and David B. Durkee, International President of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers' International Union (BCTGM). This year’s theme of Working For Justice is significant given the intensified war on working people we’ve witnessed throughout 2017.

We hope that you will join us in heralding the accomplishments of these two inspiring leaders who are working for justice and to celebrate their commitment to a better world for all working people and their families.

Meet the Honorees

We are pleased to celebrate and highlight their outstanding careers and achievements
